6m LPF bypass oder nicht ?

Beitrag von f6itu » Fr Nov 03, 2017 10:23 am

Hi

I would like to know who is using the Alex lpf «6m bypass » function, and in which case ? Unless those who need to work with higher order Nyquist zone (and in this case, the use of the RX2 input does exactly the same thing)
I consider using a permanent lpf in the frontend path, without any bypass relay when designing my homebrew version of Alexiares. Did I missed something obvious ?

Hallo,

Your answer on the yahoo apache forum was "ganz klar" and my question was totally stupid.
In fact, as I'm routing an Alex PCB -the lpf right now- I must admit that form time to time, having the nose "in" the building and re-design makes you loose the "big picture" and the general schematic. Hermes frontend has an incredibly complex switching, and trying to reproduce such a system to respect all the software and firmware prerequisite is not easy.

Vielen dank nochmal René
